  1. The Promoter

    The promoter is: SNG Productions Ltd. of The Old Workshop, 1 Ecclesall Road South, Sheffield, England, S11 9PA

  2. The Competition

    The title of the competition is SNG Presents: Let Em’ Cook

    The competition will be divided into 2 parts; 

    1. Anyone who meets the initial eligibility criteria (as outlined in these terms and conditions) may apply to become a participant (a “Participant”) in a recorded cooking competition (the “Competition”). This will be considered the Application Stage.

    2. The successful Participants will participate in the LET EM COOK - COOKING COMPETITION SHOW and the winner will receive a prize of £10,000. 

  3. How to enter 

    1. The Application Stage competition will run from 12.00 on 16/11/25 to 23.59 on  25/11/25  inclusive. The Cooking Show will take place on Saturday 6th December 2025 and Sunday 7th December 2025.

    2. All Application Stage competition entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than 23.59 on the Closing Date. All Application Stage competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified. 

    3. To enter the competition:

      1. submit a completed entry form, which can be found [on the SNG productions website], together with a video of not more than 1 minute outlining why the Applicant should be selected as a Participant. Forms and videos should be submitted by the Closing Date.

      2. if selected as a Participant, be available and participate in SNG Presents: Let Em’ Cook (the Cooking competition).  

    4. The competition is open to the general public and no additional purchase is necessary and there is no additional charge to register an entry.

    5. The Promoter will not accept:

      1. responsibility for competition entries that are corrupted, not successfully completed or transmitted, lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, website, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or 

      2. proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.

    6. By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

    9. The competition entries and all participation will be judged by a panel of 3 judges based on the most apt and original answer submissions. The decision of the panel of judges (acting reasonably) will be final.

  4. Eligibility

    1. The competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:

      1. employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;

      2. employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or

      3. members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.

    2. In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.

    3. The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:

      1. automatically generated by computer or created by artificial intelligence (including but not limited to chatbots such as ChatGPT or similar software applications);

      2. completed by third parties or in bulk;

      3. illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;

      4. not originals; or

      5. incomplete.

    4. There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.

    5. The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.

    6. Competition entries cannot be returned.

    7. By entering the Competition, you acknowledge and agree that you may be competing against individuals with a wide range of cooking abilities and experience, including both amateur and professional participants. The Promoter makes no representation, warranty or guarantee regarding the skill level, background or experience of any other Participant and accepts no liability arising from any disadvantage, imbalance or outcome resulting from such variations. Participation is accepted by you on this basis, and by entering the Competition you waive any right to challenge, dispute or contest the fairness of the Competition, including the outcome, on the grounds of differing participant abilities. The decision of the judges and/or the Promoter in this regard shall be final and binding.

  5. The prize

    1. A single prize of £10,000 is available to be won.

    2. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value.

    3. The prize is not negotiable or transferable.

    4. To win the prize you must abide by the rules of the competition and participate in and win the Cooking Show. 

    5. In order to claim the prize the winner must provide all relevant details to SNG production where ther prize will be paid via bank transfer.

  6. Winners

    1. The decision of the Promoter or the judges nominated by the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

    2. If required, the Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the competition entry. The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the competition entry form has been submitted.

    3. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the name of the winner will be announced at the end of the Cooking Show and Promoter will publish the surname and county of the winner on Instagram and/or other social media platforms. 

    4. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter [casting@sngproductions.co.uk]. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request. 

  7. Claiming the prize

    1. Please allow 7 days for delivery of the prize OR If you are the winner of the prize, you will have 7 days from the Announcement Date to claim the prize by referring to the details of how to claim in 5.5. If you do not claim the prize by this date, your claim will become invalid.]

    2. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.

    3. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within 10 days of the Cooking Show, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible Participant.

    4. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

  8. Limitation of liability

    Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

  9. Ownership of competition entries and intellectual property rights

    1. All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter on receipt and will not be returned. 

    2. By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:

      1. assign absolutely and in perpetuity to the Promoter all your intellectual property rights held in the competition entry with full title guarantee; and

      2. waive absolutely all moral rights,

        in and to your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.

      3. You agree that the Promoter may, in their sole discretion, make your entry available on its website and in any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the competition. You grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence in perpetuity, for the full period of the intellectual property rights in the competition entry and any accompanying materials, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the intellectual property rights in the competition entry and any accompanying materials for such purposes.

  10. Data protection and publicity

    1. The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the https://www.sngproductions.co.uk/privacy-notice . See also 6.3 and 6.4, with regard to the announcement of winners.

  11. General

    1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.

    2. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

    3. These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
